In October of 2016 the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra had a concert to celebrate the music of David Bowie. 

To help them promote the concert on social media, we produced 3 pre-roll videos. Each video featured a lone musician playing an excerpt from ‘Space Oddity’, then looking at the camera as David Bowie’s iconic lightning bolt appeared on their face. 

I started by developing a proof of concept storyboard using stock photo samples to demonstrate what we wanted to do for the video. Upon approval of the concept, a video shoot was scheduled. Then, using After Effects and Mocha, I tracked the performers faces and composited the lighting bolt on. I was also responsible for designing the title cards and editing the video.
