CFAC Retail Opportunities Video   

MacEwan University commissioned this video to promote the retail spaces available in their new CFAC building. It listed details such as spaces available, attractions, and projected pedestrian traffic.

I coordinated with another designer on our team who developed the brochure. With their input I developed storyboards with graphics styled to reflect the design elements from the brochure. Once the storyboards were approved, I began production on the video. Without any actual video footage to build from, I used dynamic panning and transitions to bring a series of still photos and conceptual renderings to life.

The video was distributed through the augmented reality app Layar. When a user scanned specific pages of the CFAC brochure with the Layar app, this video would be projected onto the brochure through the users phone, as well as another video featuring more detailed information about the local area as displayed on an animated map.
